Kitten making me lose my crap!!!

My husband got a new kitten because our cat passed away and our other cat was lonely. And so was my husband. He got a Maine coon. The most affectionate breed. So he works 8:30 pm-6:00 am and sleeps till 3 or 4 pm. We have a 3 month old and toddler. I’m with both all night and day alone. So my daughter sleeps on her room but will come to my room and sleep with me at anytime throughout the night so we have to keep both doors open at night. My newborn bedshares as well. I don’t want the kitten in my room as it only wants to play all night and I don’t want to accidentally hurting my newborn. It likes to attack his feet while he sleeps. So I decided to make a cat room with our extra room for him at night. But he meows the whole time!! So loud he wakes my daughter. So then I have her screaming in my room and then the newborn screams and it’s a never ending battle to get them both to sleep. I’m losing my mind!! What can I do? I know he’s just scared and lonely and I feel so bad but I can’t have him in my room till he’s bigger. And my older cat is still very skeptical so they can’t be alone together. Any ideas? My husband is thinking another kitten to keep him company at night but idk

The kitten freaks out if he can’t be next to me at all times :( but I have a toddler and a newborn that need me first
