When to see the OBGYN?

I’m 10dpo and got a few positive pregnancy tests today. I haven’t technically missed a period yet as it’s due either Wednesday or Thursday. I am trying to figure out if I need to wait until I officially miss my period to call my Obgyn. Do I need to wait to call the doctor until after I have officially missed my period or can I just call tomorrow?

Depends on where you live, because 1st thing the doc will do is ask for your LMP to determine your due date, after that they will either give you a radiology ultrasound form to schedule an ultrasound or they will do it themselves. But depending on where you live you may not get your 1st scan until 12 weeks, if you live in some countries your 1st scan can be as early as 5-6weeks. But as early as you are (between 3-4weeks) there is not really much to be done. Wait until you have officially missed your period before making a docs appointment

I got my positive on a Sunday, called on Monday. They scheduled me for 8 weeks based off the first day of my last period. Some may see you earlier if you have a certain history and some may have you come in for bloodwork. Normal time is 8-10 weeks though.

I don’t think a few days matters, just call sometime this week since they probably won’t see you until 8-10 weeks anyways.  Congrats!
