If you have or have had an IUD, what were your symptoms and how long did they last?

I got one (Mirena) in the end of September and I am considering having it removed. I was thinking of waiting to see if the symptoms get better.

I have been bleeding nonstop and having mood swings. I've been in touch with my OB and she said it can last weeks to months. I had the arm implant previously with no symptoms
