Just wanted to post this because I was always looking for comforting posts when I was having bleeding and no one ever seemed to post updates.

This is my fourth pregnancy (first was a miscarriage), I have two boys and now pregnant with a third boy. The only pregnancy where I DIDN'T bleed was the one I miscarried (had to have a D&C because I never passed the tissue). This particular pregnancy though I had a massive hemorrhage at 6w. I've never bleed this much in my life. Clot after clot, my husband is a doctor and even he was shocked. I truly was so sure I miscarried I made him go through the clots to see if I had passed the sac. The doctors at the hospital almost admitted me for blood loss and even offered a D&C which I declined. One week later there was a little fluttering heartbeat on the ultrasound. The nurses who remembered me even cried when they heard I hadn't lost the baby. I've had three more smaller bleeds since and he's still doing great at 23w. I haven't bled since around 18w.

P.S. If you have a negative blood type (O-, A-, etc) make sure you get the Rhogam shot after any bleeding.
