Paragard and Pill simultaneously?

I am currently on June’s FE 1/20 - the pill has been great for me for the last 8 years, it manages all my symptoms, I skip my periods, pregnancy prevention, etc. However, with the new SCOTUS confirmation (fuck her), I’m getting worried about the availability of BC options in the future and am considering a Paragard for something long-lasting.

Could I possibly get a Paragard and stay on the pill to manage my symptoms/keep skipping periods? Has anyone done the same? Or should I just consider a hormonal IUD?
