Baby refusing bottle! Please help!

I have a 9 month old baby. He's been exclusively breastfed since birth. Didn't give him a bottle, at all. I was planning on just breadstfeeding till he's like 1, maybe 2. Idk.

But- I have a surgery coming up. It's very out of the blue, found out about it just a week ago. It's for my eyes, (both eyes will be done separately, so two diff surgerys).

For this procedure, my doctors have recommended to not feed my child because of meds after the surgery that I will be taking.

At first, I figured I could try weaning him off, and onto formula. But that's not working. He hates the formula, and wont take the bottle.

His nurse recommended pumping. So I could pump from now till surgery, so I have a decent stock to last me till after the procedure. And I could continue after the meds wear off. (I'd be pumping and dumping that med milk)

But!!

He wont take that bottle either 🥺

I've tried him when he's hungry. I've tried when he's active.

He won't take it. He'll laugh at me like I'm joking with him lmao

So, please help!!

How can I help my son take a bottle??

Are there different bottles I could try? This is the regular evenflo infant bottles.

I'm down to try anything lol
