How long after birth ?

How long after birth did you get your period? Is it true if you’re breast feeding you won’t get it until after you stop breastfeeding? I would like to hear some experiences.. ty ❤️

Not true for everyone. I was EBF my first and got mine back at 3 month PP. Ended up pregnant again at 8 months PP.

I did not breastfeed and got my period 9 days after PP bleeding stopped. I bled 5 weeks 3 days. Went 9 days of nothing then got my period

13 months with my first, 17 months with my second. Both breastfed. I was still nursing my first at 13 months but cut out pumping which I guess prompted the period at that time.

I’m still breastfeeding (13 months) and I got my first period at 10 months postpartum. And my second one this week. I was super regular and heavy before. With the past two they’ve been super light. Hoping it stays this way when we wean!

I breastfed both my babes. It’s different for everyone! With my first I got my period back at 7 months, and with my second it was 11 months. I breastfed them until they were over 18 mos old.
