Nexplanon

My story:

I got nexplanon my senior year of high school. Had it in for 3 years with NO PROBLEMS. I loved it. No period all three years. No weight gain. ( but I’m very active). I got it taken out my sophomore year of college cuz it’s only effective 3 years. But I didn’t get another one put in again because I wasn’t having sex due to my boyfriend @ the time & I breaking up. Fast forward two years later with no form of birth control I have decided to get back on nexplanon. Now that I have a new sexual partner. I got it put in yesterday, while on my period. & it hurt so bad to put in. I don’t remember it hurting the first time. It’s two days later & it still hurts. I’m bruised so bad! It instantly stopped my period when put in also. Hopefully it’s gunna work like my first experience. Ask me any questions about nexplanon!!!
