I never suggest naming a child and trying to have them go by their middle name. It just never seems to catch on. My sister is always trying to call her son by his middle name, but no one else does it and he doesn’t have want to go by it now that he’s older. 😅

I did see your comment that this would be the 6th Robert. Personally, I’d do Rhett Robert, that way you still include the name but you don’t have to do the middle name thing.

I'm always confused by people who give their children names that they don't intend on calling them. If youre going to call him Rhett, make that the first name. Rhett Robert works too.

I think it sounds nice together. A lot of people hate alliteration especially on here. Also I don’t really think it matters what name you choose or if it flows because of your particular situation. I think you should pick whatever name you like and want to call your son.
