Something terrible happened recently. I need to vent on here cause idk. Last Monday a light fixture fell on my mother's head. She had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance. thank God she only got a minor concussion and cuts on her hands. She's still not feeling well and on strong meds. She is crying from the pain. Meanwhile I'm arguing with my landlord for not fixing the property when I told her about it. Then today she ends our lease and tells us we have to leave by tomorrow. My bf is traveling and won't be back until tuesday. So I have to pack my entire house by myself, take as much stuff as I can and leave by midday tomorrow 😭😭😭😭 I'm so emotionally drained. My trust in humanity is almost gone at this point. Mind you we had a good friendship with the landlord. I've met her kids, been to her home, cooked for her, fixed her car, and given her endless gifts. How could she do this to us!?!? And during a pandemic, while my mom was hospitalized this week!?!?

Update: we're living in the car because we have no money for a hotel. We have no family or friends. No one has helped us. The shelters in my city are all occupied.
