I’ve never had to decide between the two. It’s always been the same candidate

I believe that the best candidate for my family is also the best for the larger population. From my POV they are the same person. I have felt this way every time I vote.
That said, hypothetically, I would never vote for a candidate that was going to hurt my family. If it was a matter of my family hurting so that the larger population could thrive, that’s a no from me. We all have our vote for a reason.
