Making some one leave

My friend has a boyfriend who is physically and mentally abusive. She’s at work right now and he is at home threatening to put holes in the walls if she dosnt answer her phone so they can talk about their relationship. She said she is going to send her dad over and he said he will call the cops because it’s “his property too”. They both bought the house together but it’s in her name. Is there a way legally to get him to leave?
