Contractions?

Question

Contractions are 7 minutes apart. Want to make sure I’m logging real contractions. FTM here. What did yours feel like when they got this close?

Seven minutes intervals apart wasn’t bad, it felt like some moderate period cramping but nothing I couldn’t handle and even lightly nap thru or walk off. Walking helped a lot. I went from 7 to 5 in a few hours. Once I was getting into the 5-4 minute range I was in PAIN. It’s not the same level of pain for everyone for so many reasons, but I think because I dilated rather quickly it was the worst pain I’ve every felt in my life! 
If you’re regularly having contractions, I would be prepping your bags and putting your plans into motion for your delivery now if you haven’t already!

I’d get ready to go to the hospital. If they’re that close together, and they’re consistent then it’s likely the real deal

Is it just tightening? Or do you actually feel them in a way other than tightening? If it’s just tight it could be Braxton Hicks. If they’re real they would be uncomfortable in a way that’s more than just your belly being tight. Though that far apart mine were not super painful. I don’t think they’re bad till like 6-7cm then I really start having to focus through them.
