Is 8w4d too early to annouce to family ?

We typically have wine on thanksgiving ans if I don’t have any they might be suspicious—- is it okay to tell them that early?

I told my immediate family early. The worst that can happen is a MC, at which point if you are close to your family the support is nice. 
But if you want to wait longer, my go-to is “I’m on antibiotics for a UTI (if they pry) and I can’t drink.”

Tell them when you want, if you don’t want to tell them say that you’re on an antibiotic that says not to drink while on it.

You should do whatever you’re comfortable with. God forbid something happens, but if it does you’ll have support rather than making you feel like you’re alone. Pregnancy is a joyful thing so you should celebrate it with the people you love for sure.

It’s a personal choice. I would ask yourself if a miscarriage unfortunately happened, would you want your family’s support or would you want to deal with it in private? If you’d want to deal with it in private then I’d wait a few more weeks to be on the safer side.

Coming from someone who has had several Mc’s I would deff wait. I read so many stories on glow of women (including myself) that have announced early and ends in MC. Not saying this will happen to you but at least till 12-13 weeks is best to wait or longer if your tummy doesn’t show. Congratulations ❤️ tell them your not feeling good so u can’t drink
