Breech baby

I went to the doctor today & I am 38 weeks pregnant. Doctor did ultrasound & baby is breech. Said no room to try to move him & probably won’t be able to flip him.

I have a 2 yr old daughter vaginally & she flipped at 35 weeks, pretty much last minute. But doesn’t look like this one will.

My dr said I have to schedule a c section so plan on for 11/13/2020, Friday the 13th.

I will be 39 weeks pregnant by 11/13/2020 & my doctor doesn’t want me to go any longer than that with the baby being breech.

Now I have tons of questions. I will also ask my dr nurse tomorrow when I call to finish scheduling but wanted other moms opinions.

Any mom deliver breech babies? Vaginal? C section? How far along were you?

What should I expect for a c section? Should I bring anything different?

Can I still breastfeed?

Does my boyfriend & I have to get covid test beforehand? Can he even be in there?

How long is recovery in hospital? Recovery at home?

Anyone have Aflac? I have Aflac did this change their agreement on how long they can receive payments for? I heard it would be longer?

Just found out today so trying to take it all in.

I know questions won’t apply for everyone.
