12 weeks - nucal scan or harmony test?

Saw my dr today & we discussed if I want to get the nucal scan or harmony tests done at 12 weeks to test for Down syndrome etc. I’ve had 2 kids already but the harmony test didn’t exist then. I’m torn. Tempted to go with normal nucal scan that I’ve had before but not sure. What does everyone think?

Both..but Harmony is just a carrier screen I think, to see if parent carries any defective genes..Panorama actually tests the baby’s free floating DNA to see if baby has anything abnormal.

Thanks guys. Dr said it’s $450-$500 for the harmony test here 😳 Just wasn’t sure if it’s necessary or not. I thought the NT scan was pretty good to pick up abnormalities etc.

I got the harmony testing only because it cost me nothing. I would get the procedure code and diagnosis code from your doctor and call your insurance before deciding.
