Betas Not Doubling

Hi ladies,

I’m 6w3d and trying not to freak out and wait for my next ultrasound on the 13th. I went on the 2nd and they just saw a gestational sac but it was empty (although the equipment was not the best). My doctor took betas Tuesday (23,380) and today (30,120). He says it doesn’t look good because it didn’t double, but I thought that with higher levels it wouldn’t double in 48 hours? Has anyone else experienced this?
