I was 19 when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I turned 20 on Sept 15, 2020. I found out I was pregnant on June 19th 2020.

I heard my baby's first heartbeat at 8 weeks.

Everything was fine, baby was healthy.

At 10 weeks I got a NIPT test done to check for any abnormalities. I did not get the results not until a week after. I got the baby's results she was diagnosed with fetal-hydrops and Trisomy 21. But, she also had fluid around her heart and lungs, and under her skin (fetal hydrops) I did get told she might not make it till birth.. but I kept on pushing praying to God everyday for my baby to be okay and if he can't take my baby away .. I was more so worried about the fluid because I knew it could kill her ... Doctors seen me again at my 16 week check up appt.. I went in to see if everything was fine .. my baby's heartbeat stopped at 17 weeks ... I know God has other plans , I don't blame God for taking our babygirl .. but I do miss her. Losing your own baby is a different kind of hurt , a feeling nobody understands .. 🥺
