Hi all !

I had a devastating stillbirth in December 2018. At my 20 week follow up anatomy scan , it was confirmed that my son had hydrops fetalis . An amnio also confirmed that he had Down’s syndrome . Unfortunately, his heart stopped beating at 25 weeks . It was the saddest time in my life .

I was blessed to conceive rather soon after losing my son , and now have a beautiful one year old daughter who brought so much joy and happiness back into my life .

My husband and I decided to try this one more time , and we are expecting again for late May 2021 . I thought I wouldn’t be so nervous this pregnancy, but I’m having the same worried feelings that I had in my first pregnancy. I figured having a successful pregnancy after loss would have given me a pass to not have any nagging thoughts this time around ☹️.
