My son used a push walked for about a week and then just pulled himself on the side of the bed and then walked to my full clothes hamper . Back and forth until he got it

A push walker? Yeah. It kept them steady when they wanted to walk but weren’t quite there. It was also hours of entertainment after they learned to walk, they would run around with that thing at top speed just having a super fun time.
Never had one of those walkers they ride in, I don’t have the room for that in my house. And my kids would’ve been like “ok I’m here take me out so I can play” ... 2 minutes later ... “put me back in so I can zip back to where I was” ... commence screaming because I’m not doing all that.

We have a push walker for her. But I waited until she was standing on her own, cruising the furniture, and showing some serious interest in walking before breaking it out so I know developmentally she’s ready for this next step

We didn’t use a walker. I’ve used them in the past and I hate them! To me, they’re nothing but a snack tray. I feel like they just let the kid be lazy and they’re just bulky and in the way. We had several ride/push toys. They are much better in my opinion. They make the baby work and learn.
