Toilet cleaning

Question

I am looking for a good toilet cleaner.. We bought our house last November and both the toilets have a ring in. I have used all sorts of cleaners, bleach. 
I broke a toilet brush scrubbing so hard to clean it. 
Any recommendations or tips are welcome.

You can get a pumice stone to scrub inside the toilet on Amazon. The before/after photos look like it works well!

Same with us! We just bought our house that’s older last month and it had sludge so bad it looked like poop 😭 my dad is a plumber we bought ZEP at Home Depot used regular toilet brush after letting sit and turning toilet water off, sludge gone!

Smells absolutely horrible, but it's the only thing that got rust stains out of my ceramic sink. There is a gel spray too, I believe both are good on toilets too.
