Tongue thrush?

I think my baby has thrush on her tongue. It’s all white and patchy. Doesn’t seem to be bothering her though. We have a doctors appointment a week from today and everything online said it would most likely go away on its own in a few days so long as I’m extra extra vigilant about sterilising everything. We breastfeed with a nipple shield.

Obviously if she starts to show distress or has issues eating or passes it to me I’ll contact the doctor immediately, I’m just curious if anyone has dealt with this and what did you do and how did you make out?
