Today when I put on my contacts my right eye was feeling dry all day but I was at work so I couldn’t really do anything about it and now that I’m home I removed it and it just feels like something is in my eye so I went to check and it just looks like this clear jelly thing 😖
What is it? Will it go away?

Sometimes people with eye allergies get mucus buildup (for lack of better term) and it feels uncomfortable, gritty, or itchy. It’s basically allergic conjunctivitis. It clears on its own.

Optometrist here: go get seen be an optometrist or eye doc, yes the part of the lense may come out by itself, but it might also be stuck on top/slighly behind what you can see on your eye and cause an infection or major discomfort.
