What does a baby eat?

That is not these pureed things they sell prepackaged at the supermarket...
Any ideas welcome!

We went with BLW, so he ate what we ate. Steamed veggies, pasta, fruit, shredded chicken, etc. 🙂

my original plan was to do BLW but my daughter went through this phase where she would hardly drink milk at daycare but would eat oat cereal. So I I made purées at home but would by puréed prunes and yogurt. Sweet potatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, apples, carrots, peas, mango, pears, blueberries, plums, I know I’m forgetting some. I just grabbed what looked good at the store. 
I did a couple meat ones: turkey with apple sauce, turkey with root veggies, and beef with potatoes, carrots, and peas. 
After that I added grains/pasta to put in the purées. Quinoa with pears and cherries, quinoa with zucchini/yellow squash, oatmeal with root vegetables, mango and raspberry with amaranth, millet with berries, chickpea with blueberries, peas with mini pasta. 
I would always give her bits of whatever we are having. She has been feeding herself for about two months now but I still spoon feed some stuff. She gets pretty much whatever we have.

I just made my own purees.

My oldest only ate what we made and ground up for him.  He didn’t like the store bought food.  My youngest wanted nothing to do with anything ground or purée, so he eats what we eat just cut up small.  He loves steak, pork, potatoes, pasta, veggies.
