What's happening ?

Hi my toddler been waking up in the middle of the night screaming and it takes a little bit for her to calm down and go back to sleep.  Is this normal? Not sure if I should take her to the doctor with all this covid stuff going on? But its been 2 days now, and she keeps waking up around the same time.

My son had night terrors and would wake up screaming in the middle of the night but wasn't really awake so it would take in a few mins to calm down. Once we woke up he would calm down and go back to sleep. He grew out of them eventually.

I used to do that as a toddler. My mom has told me I would wake up crying and screaming bloody murder. I had many night terrors and recurring nightmares as a child. Many of which I still vividly remember, even as far back as I can remember when I was like 3-4 years old. (And I’m 31 now) Maybe she’s having bad dreams. Or maybe she just wakes up scared and wants you. That’s all pretty normal.
