Is it rude to ask people to take their shoes off before coming in my home?
I have OCD. I can’t stand people wearing shoes in my house. I think you’re bringing germs in the home. I cringe at the sight and go clean the floors. I know I probably need help. My mother in law always thinks it’s rude to ask her to take her shoes off because she wants to wear her shoes instead of brand new house slippers I provide. Am I being rude for asking everyone or is she being rude for not respecting my rules and wishes?
