Work Stress!!

Need to vent here, as I can’t anywhere else!

I am an office manager in a dental office where the covid cases are increasing rapidly.

My boss does is not phased at all regarding the virus, and could seem to care less about her staffs concerns, as long as she is making money and our schedules are filled with patients she is happy. When staff members bring up their concerns she just states well you chose the dental field. ( keeping in mind she really isn’t following osha guidelines for the safety of the staff)

I am also a dental assistant and have transitioned away from assisting the last year, unless needing to fill in due to someone calling out.

I am just about 20 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby and am obviously concerned as I am higher risk for covid, today she decided to move around our staffing situation and just assume that I would fill in and help out, even though I have expressed my concerns to her about being in direct patient care at this time, as I have been having a difficult pregnancy and cannot wear a N95. I am also super behind in my actual work to be completed as for the past two weeks I have been short staffed for the front and have been by myself a majority of the time 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
