Ptsd, anxiety will baby get it?

I have ptsd, generalized anxiety disorder, and other things caused by my traumatic childhood will my baby get them too? Like can I pass it to them?

There may be a genetic component to anxiety but you can't pass on post traumatic stress disorder. You need a traumatic stressor for that.

PTSD is as a result of trauma. Someone cannot just develop it. Anxiety and depression can be genetic. But the main thing is that children learn coping skills and thought process from their parents. So the way you respond to things and verbalize things can effect your child positively or negatively. This is something you can definitely work on with a therapist so you can have a positive impact on your child. Remember that if you survived childhood trauma, you are strong and resilient.
