How do you new moms who are heavy sleepers deal with getting sleep when you’re watching baby alone and hubby is at work. How do you get up when baby cries and is it hard

Answer

I used to never wake up if I was asleep (before having my daughter) not even with loud noises, but for some reason once I had her I’d hear her cry & when she was moving around. So I’d just wake up. My fiancé took a week off work so that helped out a lot. I’d stay up the first 3-4 hours and then it would be his turn. So we’d both only get around 4-5 hours of sleep depending which was fine with me. After he went back to work I’d stay up with her and I’d just nap when she was asleep.

I’m a deep sleeper and I hear my kids. It’s instinctual.
