So I met this guy on my college campus and we’ve been talking for about two weeks now. In the beginning we just talked on Snapchat and he would reply really fast and seemed to want to get to know me. He said some weird shit, like he called me a thick baddie. Then he asked for my number and now we talk on messages, he continued to reply very fast and was very flirty, calling me cute, and even asked me if we would look good together. I was unsure of his intentions bc I’ve never talked to a guy that was like this, when I asked him if he liked me he said yes and even apologized for coming on too strong and said when he likes someone he does too hard and than asked me if i liked him and i said yes too. But ever since than his texts seem so dry, he doesn’t text back nearly as fast, and stopped flirting. He does still continue the conversation though, even when I send a dry text he continues it and doesn’t leave me on read. I’m just really confused on if he really does like me, or if that was a lie, the thing that gets me is that he still carries on the conversation. We live like an hour away from each other but doesn’t even bother to talk about meeting up because the only time we saw each other was when he asked for my Snapchat on campus. He’s said it before we should see each other or let me know when we can hang out but he doesn’t do that anymore. Since our campus is closing for the remainder of the semester idk what that means for us now. Do any of you think he’s likes me or should I just stop trying before I waste my time?

Update: he texted me Friday after not texting back for 6 hours so I left him on delivered. I posted on my snap story and he viewed it but didn’t text me or block me? I feel bad and can’t help but cling onto false hope :(
