So me and my boyfriend have been together for almost a year. Well I decided to introduce him to my family early on since it would be the only way we would get to see each other since with Covid i wouldn’t be able to go out. I didn’t expect him to introduce me to his family since that’s his decision and I would never rush that. But I’ve noticed he hasn’t told anyone that we are together and It’s been almost a year. It’s like I don’t exist to the people around him.

Is it wrong of me to overthink this ? I know he cares for me but idk is it wrong to want to be known to at least his friends? Or acknowledged on social media at least once, just for anyone to know I exist ?

⚠️Update: hey girls so it’s February, I made this post in November so here’s what’s happened so far

🦃 November(after this post): I decided to mention to him again the worries I had about not knowing anyone. And he apologized for not noticing how it bothered me.

❄️ December: beginning of the month I hung out with him and his sister. we had a double date set up with his bestfriend and his gf. Didn’t get to happen since my bf got COVID and we couldn’t see each other. For most of the month. But he did tell his friends about me so that’s better.

💥 January: we were on FaceTime and I heard him tell his family about me. I was supposed to meet them that same week but my sister got COVID so we had to stop seeing each other for a while.

♥️ February: He had mentioned meeting his parents soon but his mother has been in the hospital for about a week now so we’re just going to do that another time when she’s better.
