Heavy period

Okay so this might get long. On the 19th I started my period. So on the 24th I went to urgent care because I was soaking through an ultra tampon every two hours and passing bigger than usual clots for me since I had started my period. They weren't a quarter size but close. So they put me on Provera. Today is day 4 of taking it and I'm back to changing them every two-three hours and clots. At first it seemed like it was working in stopping my heavy flow. So now my question is should I go back to urgent care or give the medication more time to work?
