24 hour urine test

I went to l&d last night for consistent contractions, turns out my bp was higher than normal 143/82 & I had a headache. my blood work all came back normal according to my dr but she wants me to do a 24 hour urine test. I feel like this is a waste of time since all of my bloods came back normal, isn't it? this isn't fun lol I also have to go back at 3 today for a NST.

these were my contractions for 4 hours, they were strong & i felt them a lot in my back, but I wasn't dilating unfortunately. (37.3weeks today)
