I hate this...

My friend barely texts me and has been distant since they got a girlfriend. For some bizarre reason, they think I’m friends with her despite having NEVER met nor talked to her outside an Instagram group chat of 50 random people that the three of us were added to. Needless to say, I’ve been hella jealous of their gf because they’re always together and I’m left on read and losing my best friend.

They just texted me for the first time in a month because their girlfriends birthday is coming up and they want me to help with a card. I don’t even know her, or what she’s like, or what she likes. I don’t know how I’d contribute to the card at all or if she’d even care. I’m just some random girl her partner ditched.
