My son was born in April at 28 weeks due to preeclampsia. He is thankfully very healthy and right on track with his growth. I ended up getting pregnant not long after he came home. Im currently 18 weeks and 4 days and ever since 12 weeks I've had protein in my urine. Im extremely worried that baby girl will be early just like my son was. Has anyone had back to back preeclampsia? Or later found out that preeclampsia caused some kidney damage and had issues in other pregnancies? I have an appointment with the high risk ob this coming Friday but I was curious if anyone else had any experience with this as well. I handled my some being in the NICU surprisingly well but I'm not sure how well im going to handle having a second child born early in the NICU. Thank you in advance!
