Can i still breastfeed if I'm group b strep positive???

I'm a first time mom and can't get a clear answer. Some medical forms/health care professionals say there's a chance of passing it through Breast milk and others say it can't be passed in that manner because of the antibodies in breastmilk. If there's any risk I'd rather just formula feed instead of giving my baby a potentially life threatening disease(gbs), which can cause pneumonia, sepsis, meningitis etc... Does anyone have experience with this? I know it's pretty common, so I'm hoping I can get some wisdom from some of your real life experience from it since apparently there's not much research on the topic. Thanks in advance!
