Has anyone had or have Polyhydramnios?

I'm 35+4 and have just had a scan. They told me I have a high amount of fluid around the baby. I see the consultant soon, but was just wondering what others experience of this has been. Did you deliver early, were there any complications etc.

My cousin had this, but the midwife never caught it. She had complained so many times about so many issues that the midwife brushed off and ignored.  She even let her go over her due date with all the swelling she was experiencing.  When she finally went in and had a different doctor he asked why he hadn’t been informed sooner (he was the main ob at the office), and she was sent for a csection the next day.  He was pissed that the midwife didn’t catch the fact that there was so much fluid around the baby. They got lucky and no issues came of it and she is a healthy 4 year old now. That midwife is actually no longer there because of many many complaints.

Im 31+4 weeks and currently in early labour for it they not to sure what's causing it tho because it happened out of no where the fluid around my daughter was fine 2 weeks ago now theres two much. Iv been in hospital 4 days now praying to keep her cooking as long as I can
