I just took these on Sunday. And i am very excited but I’m also very worried.

I had a horrible miscarriage in July. At 11 weeks pregnant I found out that my baby’s heart stopped at 9 weeks. My midwife said there was no need to do an dnc and to let me body pass it naturally. Over the next two weeks I passed huge blood clots and bled off and on. On July 17th I started bleeding a lot and it wouldn’t stop, it was like a steady stream of blood with huge blood clots. It was so bad I started to pass out and my SO called 911. I had never been thru anything like that before, so I honestly thought that was guna be the end of it and the bleeding would stop. I didn’t know I was hemorrhaging. I ended up losing over a liter of blood. I was transferred to a different hospital because the one I was at didn’t have an OBGYN unit. The hospital they transferred me to was horrible. They told me I had to have a manual dnc, they gave me no pain med other than injecting lidocaine into my cervix which was horrible and I still felt everything in that procedure. It was about 2:30 in the morning when they did that procedure and I didn’t realize they had a student dr in there so when the dr was done he held up the tube thing he just used on me, still covered in my blood and was demonstrating to the other dr what he had just done to me, in front of me. After they all left they left me in the room for about 20 mins then someone came in and told me I was ready to be discharged. I didn’t have any bottoms because I had bled all over them before I got to the first hospital. I asked for bottoms they said they could give me a sheet to wrap around me. This hospital, the one I was transferred to was an hr away from my home and I was reassured by the nurses at the first hospital that the second hospital wouldn’t kick me out in the middle of the night because I wasn’t going to have any way home. The 2nd hospital the one where all of this happened at went as far as to call me a Lyft to get me home. They were ok with putting me in a Lyft with nothing but a sheet covering my bottom half. They didn’t even give me any underwear.

While I was signing the discharge papers the head of the ER came rushing in and urged me to stay and he promised to transfer me to the observation unit. My blood pressure was 68 over 20.

I was transferred to the observation unit and I was finally treated with some care.

I am absolutely TERRIFIED to go thru that again.

I’ve been have lower back pain and I’m just trying so hard not to worry. I can’t get in for a dr appt until 12/30.
