I made a post earlier about my daughter’s doctor giving me the go ahead to start her on very early solid foods like rice cereal and purées. However, I told my mom and one friend about it and they both flipped. My friend said NOT to give rice cereal because it causes SIDS. Like ok way to freak me out! Then my mom says to give her the rice cereal! I’m so confused. I bought rice cereal, organic oatmeal (it said on the container it was a first step oatmeal) and a bunch of first step purées. What did you feed your baby first and is feeding rice cereal really link to SIDS?
