Can your toddlers say 2-4 word phrases?

He’ll say “oh no” “Apple eat” or “mama leche” but like sentence no. We are in speech therapy b/c our pediatrician said it was a delay that he wasn’t saying two word phrases at his 18 month check up.

She says multiple words, but honestly I don't think anyone outside of us would understand her. She doesn't articulate them great. But hey, I'll take it.

He’ll say thank you, but not clear. That’s the only 2 words together that he’ll use. We’re JUST now doing animal sounds, choo choo, gigi, mama and dada of course. Okay is new. But that’s it for right now

I said no... he barely says 15 words but makes lots of noises like “moo” but he can say “up, please” or “yes, please” that’s the extent of his two words though

My son only says one word and even though we've always said "all done" he either chooses to say "done" or signs it. He prefers sign language over talking sometimes and we'll try to encourage him to say the actual word. I don't push much because the more I try, the more he doesn't want to. But we just constantly always talk and point to things for him. I would think he'd be talking more by now. He says animal noises and has a large vocabulary. I just worry about his pronunciation and lack of two word phrases. He'll say vroom vroom or choo choo. Does this sound like something I should see my pediatrician for? His next appt isn't until he's 2. He didn't talk at all to her at his 18 month appt. And she didn't seem concerned even after I told her my concerns back then. 🤷

Today he told the people at the restaurant French fry eat food. He does good with his vocabulary

My LO says phrases like "here you go", "excuse me", and "thank you", but her articulation is still rough. We know what she's saying because of context and repeated use, but probably no one else would be able to understand her yet! 😂

He’s said all done since we taught it to him around 15 months. It more sounds like “ah yah” though 😂 that’s about it.

He doesn't talk much.  But recently started saying all done or all gone when he's done with food.
