I’ve gained 80 plus pounds due to thyroid while I was in a relationship and it’s been about a year and I kinda want to get back out and date. I’m a bit self conscious. Do guys actually like plus size girls?

Hell yeah they do, there’s a whole category of porn dedicated to BBW big beautiful women, even with a freaking mask on I still get hit on, the guy am dating called me the masked bandit that even with a mask on I can still steal the hearts of men. the other day when a guy was hitting on me, I was in the grocery store and they had put in a new lottery machine and there was a man in front of me I let him go ahead of me, he was showing me the new feature that they had at the top, and we started talking, and we ended up talking for an hour. Even though I told him several times that I was with someone else etc. he gave me his number, I never called him, but he was a nice guy. OK several guys no matter what my weight whether I was 350 pounds, or I was way less. Your weight has nothing to do with it. Yes some and have a preference for skinny or women, but at the same token do you really want a guy who’s vain and only into looks. At the same token you can’t see someone’s personality from across the room, but when they get to know you, they see that you’re friendly and you open up or like my situation the other day, you let someone go ahead of you and your strike up a conversation. You can meet someone anywhere, grocery store , online, School, activities, organizations, religious organizations, volunteering, almost anywhere sweetie. Even at my heaviest I was still beating men off with a stick. Remember never allow loneliness or desperation to be the reason that you settle for less than you deserve, when your level of self worth is down, we tend to settle for what will ever will have us, and pick crap, what are self-esteem and self worth is high, you tend to date better quality men. Work on yourself inside and out, prepare yourself for the whole dating situation, mentally emotionally and physically that way you don’t allow men to use you or cheat on you or abuse you, or tolerate bullshit, happened to me so many times. Never again, I’m currently with a lawyer, he’s amazing, inside the bedroom and outside the bedroom. We’ve been together since June but I’ve known him 20 years. Can you tells me he wishes I would walk around naked more often, he loves my confidence, he loves every inch of me, that man worships my body and kisses me from head to toe, he loves to go down on me, he says he could do it for hours, he says I taste so good he sucks on his fingers like gravy or cake batter lol He’s such a weirdo but he cracks me up. Wait for that guy, not for whatever crap will have you. Finally I have a good guy￼ Took me 42 years to find him, well not really to find him but to be with him, had he approached me when I was younger, he would’ve just been the creepy old guy, he’s actually 57 but he has the sex drive a 20-year-old, he can go three rounds back to back without any break in between. And that’s amazing for a guy his age, learn to love yourself, embrace yourself and accept yourself just the way that you are, flaws and all. I love every inch of your body, your body is amazing, I can grow a human life, that is amazing, I can’t even grow a plant, without it dying. But the human body can literally grow another human life. Whether we have stretch marks or cellulite, all the celebrities have them, and Demi Lovato and Beyoncé even post of theirs and Chrissy Teigen ‘s, every woman has them, whether they’ve had children or not. I love your tiger stripes, they are growing pains and your battle scars, you are a warrior. Do I care that my boobs sag and rest on my torso no, do I care that I have belly fat no do I care that I have thick thighs no, it’s my body it’s part of me if you don’t like it you can kiss my ass. That’s the way you have to look at it peoples opinions are dust in the wind and don’t matter the only opinion that matters as yours, anyone who doesn’t like it doesn’t deserve to be in your life. I love my body just the same at 350 pounds as I do now, Happiness comes from within. I know that having a man or being in a relationship or the number on the scale or the size of your pants doesn’t complete you were define you were your happiness, you do.￼￼ Life is what you make it, enjoy it, you deserve happiness, you deserve the best, never settle for less than you deserve. Hold your head up high, and everyone else can kiss your ass.

Some guys do. It’s all about preference. Flip it round on you- are there some guys with body types you prefer over others? Are there guys you’d probably avoid altogether based on their body type? 
If I can give you one tip though, it’s to learn to love your body and yourself. Guys do like a girl who is confident. It also helps in the bedroom, too. Like think about it- if you’re self-conscious, you’re more likely to shy away from sex or not feel comfortable doing certain positions, whereas if you are confident in yourself, then you’re more likely to let loose in the bedroom! Does that make sense? 
That aside though loving yourself means you don’t rely on others for your self-worth. Your body is amazing. You might have a thyroid issue but your body keeps you moving everyday, and that’s something to celebrate! Any guy who doesn’t see that doesn’t deserve your time. Good lick!
