Cyst??

Question

I have this bump outside of my vaginal opening on my right side. It hasn’t been painful until I shaved yesterday and now everything feels irritated. I called my OB a few weeks ago and she thinks it is just a cyst. ( I do not want to go in due to covid right now) I think my razor may have just irritated the top skin of the cyst. Any advice?!

It’s likely a bartholin cyst. You can take warm epsom salt baths and use hot compresses to encourage it to drain on its own. If it gets bigger or painful you may need to have it lanced in the OB office and take some antibiotics. 
I’ve gotten these since I was a teen. Sometimes they resolve on their own. I’ve had surgery, several lances, balloon catheters inserted to let it drain. They’re awful but manageable.

I get these all the time. They suck and hurt but I try to put a warm wash cloth over it . People tell me to pop them but I can't go through with doing that but if you can I think it should be okay. 
Also I put a&d ointment on mine and a bandaid
