Big baby

My first baby was born via csection due to him measuring large on ultrasounds. He was born at 9.15 so he was a larger baby. Our second was a stillborn born at 31 weeks and he weighed 5.5 but also had a disease called Hydrops. We’re 32 weeks pregnant now and I desperately want a Vbac with her but they are telling me we can talk about Vbac but she will probably end up being a csection since our 32 weeker had shoulder dystocia. Has anyone had a baby born with shoulder dystocia prior to a birth with no complications??

Sorry for the long rant but I’m so torn 😞

My first vbac was 13 months and 5 days after my triplets were born via emergency csection (at 34+3), she was 9lbs 1oz at 37+4! And my 2nd vbac was 15 months later and was 8lbs 8oz.... they had extra nurses in the rim because ultrasound showed both to be bigger than they were and my doctor was worried about shoulder distosia

Hi! I’m not sure if I’m understanding the question but I will tell my story. I delivered my first baby via emergency c-section. My second baby was a successful VBAC and had shoulder dystocia during the delivery, so it took 2 hours and 45 mins of pushing and an episiotomy later to get him out. But he got out and was healthy. I was able to have my third baby via VBAC and he did not have shoulder dystocia. I did end up having another episiotomy though as he turned funky after I started pushing. He is healthy as well. I hope that helps. ☀️

No regrets AT ALL!! My recovery was so much better and quicker than the c-section. 🤗

My first son was a big baby and I am planning on trying for a VBAC this time also. With another boy I am afraid of shoulder dystocia. Do you have any regrets about your two VBACs?
