How soon after losing mucus plug does labor start?

Hi ladies, I'm a mom of 3 but feels like I'm starting over since I have a gap of 7 years from last baby to this one. I have a silly question at this point but here it goes...... typical how long after you lose part or all of your mucus plug does labor start? 
 I don't recall losing my mucus plug with my other children and curious on others experience. TIA

It truly depends on each woman and each pregnancy. There is no time correlation between losing your plug and going into labor. Some women lose it multiple times through the pregnancy (it regenerates) while others never see it at all. Losing it does NOT mean labor will be happening soon.

With my first, i lost mine around 38 weeks & was induced at 40+3.  My second, i lost right before going into labor at 40+2. We shall see with #3!

I lost mine weeks before my second baby. I was also 4cm and 80% for 4 weeks until I was finally induced lol

It took me 2 weeks to get into labor after I lost my mucus plug

Crazy thing happened with my first I left the ER where I hadn’t dilated at all not even a little, only to make it halfway home and started having contractions about a 1-2hrs in I lost my mucus plug and the contractions started to get worst. I than knew I was definitely in labor. It just all depends on your body.
