Those of you who grew up in a 3 child home- were one of you left out or feel left out often?

 Did those help or hurt your relationships?

I was the youngest of five so the oldest is I believe is 15 years older than me... the next oldest 4 years older than me. The next oldest is 3 years older than me. The next oldest is 1 older than me and then it’s me. It hurt our relationships in the beginning  because I was always alone and feelin lonely but after a while it actually made it better because we became closer I think it just depends on your family.

I have 2 younger brothers so yea I always felt left out. They has each other to play with. They both played football wrestled and had more things in common. one is 3 years younger and the other is 6 years younger.  Once I moved out of the house though I actually got a lot closer with both of them

I’m the baby. My sister is 6 years older than me and my brother 3. I never felt left out as a kid. We all always played together and loved eachother but had normal sibling bickering. Even as adults were all very close. My brother and sister are closer but that’s because they’re similar in personalities/lifestyles. They like to go out and be social and have drinks and do things all the time. Both single. I’m married with a baby and more of a homebody. I like the occasional night out but not like them. But again, we’re all very close and speak every day pretty much.

My cousin is the middle child and she did. Her brother is 5 years older and her sister is 4 years younger. But everything she dealt with was a result of shitty parenting and not necessarily because she was in a home with 3 children.

3 kids, 5 years between 1 and 2 and 5 years between 2 and 3 (so 10 between 1 and 3. I am the oldest. Growing up it definitely pissed me off because I was not a sister, I was a babysitter. My youngest sister was born with special needs so we definitely got less attention because of that and we were never really close until recently (we’re 27,22 and 17 now)

My sisters are less than a year apart and I’m 4 years younger so as a child I was left out because they had the same friends, were on the same teams, and obviously shared interests. I am much more independent than either of them tho🤷‍♀️ and as adults we are all very close now.

Older sister by 7 years, older brother by 2 years and younger sister by 5 years. I was the lonely one. My oldest sister was favored for being the oldest, my brother was favored for being the only boy, and my younger sister was the baby. I was always left alone, and had more expectations placed on me.

I have a sister 16months older than me & a brother 5yrs younger. So he was the baby & she was the big girl & I was just there in the middle. I feel my mom favored my brother & dad favored my sister. I've always felt like the black sheep & still do now. I was more independent than my brother or sister & my parents used that as an excuse later in life why they never babied me or gave me any extra bc they knew I could do it myself... So it helped me in a lot of ways become the woman I am today... Just a note though, my parents were amazing & spoiled us a lot but definitely my brother & sister more later in life once we were older...
