The recommendation is 6-12m in your room to reduce the risk of sids. But lots of people move them to their own room sooner. It's whatever you're comfortable with.

You’re always going to have people tell you the AAP recommendations or that it’s too early, blah blah. Do YOUR research and do what YOU and your family feel comfortable with. I moved my son at 6 months when we moved into a new house with one floor and everyone slept much better. 
It’s a little nerve wracking at first, but it’s doable. My daughter is almost 4 months and I totally would because she’s a restless sleeper, but I don’t have enough bedrooms right now.

I moved mine to his crib in his room around 8 weeks. I started with naps and when those where going well, I decided to try overnight. We had a video monitor and it was an easy transition. I definitely slept better.

For the best chance at reducing sids, she should be in your room until at least 6 months, 12 months is even better

It’s too early for me. I waited the entire first yr since I was breastfeeding and paranoid about sids I’ll do the same for this baby coming too.
