Absolutely. Rear face for as long as possible. Ideally until you max out the weight or height limits of the seat. Most states if in the US require rear facing until 2. In my state they have to rear face until two years old AND 30 pounds. Turning babies forward too soon could kill them in an accident

I read this backwards! And voted hell no and that’s not right. I plan to keep my kid rear facing as long as possible. The recommendation is until at least 2 years old now.

Children should be rear facing as long as possible (when they outgrow the weight limit for rear facing which for some can go until 4/5!) definitely well over 13 months. In many states, the law is at least two years of age! I couldn’t imagine turning my little ones that soon. I’d check your laws wherever you are and also recommend this car seat if you are having trouble with your little one being comfortable rear facing. We love it and it’s meant to keep them rear facing as long as possible.

My 20 month old is rear facing and will continue to until he outgrows his seat which I purposely bought to have high height and weight limits. It is SO much safer to rear face as long as possible. There is absolutely no reason not to do it.

Definitely att keep that baby in a rear facing seat for as long as possible le.  The minimum age is2.  Just imagine getting in a wreck and your baby getting injured because you turned that seat around too soon.  It is not worth it.
