Flu shot during pregnancy?

I’m wondering if I should get the flu shot this year considering I’m pregnant. I’ve gotten it every year & I just noticed I’m over due for a flu shot. Comment your opinions, advice and experiences if you have any :)

Thats your own choice. Im pregnant with #3 and I've never got the flu shot. That's my own choice

It is recommended. However, I’ve never had it in my life (never had the flu, either). My doctor tried to push me to get it but I was too scared to introduce something into my body that I’ve never had, especially during a pregnancy.

I did it because it does give the baby some immunity when he/she is born. They are so vulnerable when they are born so the flu shot does help.

I got mine at my first appointment around 9 weeks. I get it every year and I've never had an issue with it. My husband and 1 year old also got theirs.

I got the flu shot at my first appointment which was advised by my OB. Especially this year. You don’t want to get the flu and also try not to get covid.

I didnt get one with my first since I was due in September. This time im not due until May so i got mine at my last appointment since ill potentially be exposed to it. My husband also got his for the first time (completely on his own) to help protect me, the baby, and our toddler

I normally don’t get one year to year; I work from home normally and even when I worked in a office haven’t gotten the flu.. but, I did get the shot this year because I didn’t want to risk catching it while pregnant and I already have other high risk pregnancy issues so figured why risk it?

I had my flu shot at 10 weeks pregnant :)

I got two while pregnant.  Since I got pregnant in January, they gave me one at like 6 weeks and before I gave birth in October for this flu season
