Anyone excited for the hospital stay to actually relax?

Due in 3 weeks with our third (other kiddos are 2 and 8) and my husband will be visiting me in the hospital for a few hours a day but mainly staying home to take care of the kids. 
I am so looking forward to the hospital. No cooking, cleaning, and overall just getting some quiet time. Newborns really are the easiest 🤪

No I’m DREADING the hospital stay. This is also my third, my oldest is 2.5 and my second will be 15 months and I’m so stressed about leaving them. My husband will be with them after the baby is born and I know he’ll do fine, but I stay home with them everyday, and I know it’ll be hard on them to have me gone. Also the beds sucks at the hospital and I can’t sleep anymore there than I do at home 😂

The constant vital checks/disturbances was one of the reasons I chose to go to a birthing center with my second 😂. I feel the totalllllll opposite! Like let me rest in my own bed and sleep while baby nurses 😂. I felt like I got soooo much more rest at home with my second that we’re doing a home birth for this one (older brothers are 2 & 4). They’re in bed by 9pm and asleep until 8am so I’m looking forward to night time since we found such an awesome system last time so no one was awake longer than 5-10 minutes! My husband has time off once baby is born though so we agreed I’d do 6 days of rest upstairs (I can come down but it’s not expected). He has the older boys while I focus on establishing breastfeeding/baby’s schedule and thoroughly resting/recovering! Which will include a movie afternoon with the boys in bed with me after birth!

They’re allowing him to visit and then leave? 
My hospital isn’t allowing them to leave and come back, once they leave they’re gone until you discharge.

Yes! 😂 also my 3rd. Eldest just turned 5, youngest is 17 months (my 2nd child is the devil 😂). Youngest has recently decided morning 4.30am and naps are for the weak. Dreading the Labour as I've had 2 awful delivery's BUT lying in bed with a new born with people bringing me food? Can't wait 😂 but you can garentee they will say I'm ready to go home the same day this time 🙄😂

Same! I am looking forward to it. I a sahm and have a 4 and 2 year old and love that I can spend some by myself with the new baby for a few days.
