Needing to deliver early

Christina

I had my first high risk yesterday. It was over Zoom, so it was already a bit overwhelming. I already new I'd be high risk before my first OB appointment, but didn't know how much it would impact this pregnancy until my first appointment.

Due to a history of pre-e with my first and now having a very high amount of protien in my urine, my high risk said they will not let me go to my due date. I'm only 17w2d but they just want me to be prepared. My blood pressure was high my first appointment with my OB and my third appointment as well. My second appointment my blood pressure was normal. My high risk said they I'd be induced at 39 weeks, possibly sooner. I'm being referred to a kidney specialist because both my high risk and regular OB agree that any issues with my kidneys were pre existing and needs to be addressed. My high risk said there is a possibility that I might not even make it to 37 weeks.

I had my oldest son 10 days after my due date and my younger son 9 days after my due date. I was induced twice with my first, at 40 weeks and 41 weeks. Both times failed and I ended up going into labor naturally with him 2 days after my second induction. I was scheduled for an induction with my second but ended up going into labor at 1am the day I was supposed to be induced and had him a half hour after the time my induction was supposed to start. So needless to say, I'm really nervous about having to be induced that early after two pregnancies that lasted longer than 40 weeks.

Anyone been through this that can give me advice or to just help me not being so stressed and nervous?
